Michael T. Burke
Michael T. Burke is the President and Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Applied
Business Solutions Consulting, Inc. Prior positions held by Mr. Burke include Lead Consultant,
Madigan Consulting, Ltd., Plating Engineer at Sharretts Plating, Inc. and Nuclear Power Plant
Controller and Electrician with the United States Navy.
Mr. Burke's technology background includes the design, installation, integration, and
administration of heterogeneous computer networks on Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN and WAN);
the selection and implementation of enterprise-wide manufacturing planning and control information
systems, electronic communications systems, and databases; and the selection and integration of
enterprise-wide telecommunications systems. He also works closely with database and web application
creation, design, and implementation.
Mr. Burke's background includes experience in military specifications and procedures, quality
program implementation, and manufacturing process and quality control. Specifically he is well
versed in Mill-specs and U.S. Navy Sub-safe quality inspections, ISO 9000 and TQM implementation
and maintenance, and SPC and manufacturing quality controls. His technical experience includes
Nuclear Reactor systems design and control, advanced electronics, power distribution and motor
systems control, and electroplating process design and implementation.
Mr. Burke studied physics at Penn State University and holds a degree in Business and Economics
from Wilson College, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. He is a proud member of the St Theresa chapter
of the Knights of Columbus and sits on the board of directors for the West Shore Sportsmen's Association.
He has been Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 192 for nearly
twelve years where he shares the skills he learned as an Eagle Scout in the same troop.
